AR navigation Feature for Google Maps from Google

AR navigation Feature for Google Maps from Google

As Announced at Google's annual developer conference I/O last year about the  ' Live View ' AR navigation system(feature) is finally rolling out to compatible Android and iOS devices soon .

' Live View ' AR navigation uses a so-called Visual Positioning System (VPS) to give you direction. The VPS System compares the camera data with the data captured from Google's Street View Program.

Simply hold up your phone camera and open the Google Maps app will visually place your location and help you navigate with the Augmented Reality (AR) markers

This will be  great and accurate from the traditional compass based navigation on phones which was imprecise and cause confusion when standing still or moving slowly
